SOLUTIONS TO EMAIL PROBLEMS

2. My email comes down very slowly.
The email seems to be trickling down. What are the potential problems?

• You have very large emails or there's a lot of emails being downloaded.
• You are downloading something in the background.
• You are uploading something in the background. Perhaps you are running some file sharing program such Kazaa, WinMX or IMesh etc.. and someone is getting some file from your pc.

• You are connected at a very low speed, check the connection configuration, pay particular attention to the maximum modem speed setup.
• The mail server may be busy.
• You may have a virus on your computer that sends out emails/data from your pc in the background.
