History
The evolution of Net2000 began in 1993
when a group of Monash University Computer Science and Engineering students
combined their ideas and unique skills to form a working partnership.
Over
the course of the next few years while studying the partners had planned,
experimented and developed strategies of becoming an Internet Service
Provider.
In
early 1996, Net2000 the company was formed and a few months later Net2000
offered Internet access for the first time with five 33.6kbps analog modems
on a single computer.

Today
At present, Net2000 has over 700 digital
56kbps dial in ports serving over 5000 clients all over Melbourne.
