2. Error 692: You have been disconnected from the computer you are dialling or Dialup Networking cannot negotiate a set of network protocols.

• Try restarting the computer.
• Make sure the modem is selected correctly under dialup networking.
• The modem driver may be incorrect or not installed properly. Reinstall the modem driver.
• Reinstall the connections.
• Reinstall network componentsTCP/IP protocol is corrupted or not installed or too many identical protocols are installed.
• If you have NET2000's setup disk. Re-Run the setup disk.
