SOLUTIONS TO EMAIL PROBLEMS

1. It keeps asking me for my password
Whenever you go to check you email, it keeps asking you for your password, check the following:

 
  • Make sure you type the incoming mail server name correctly. It should be mail.net2000.com.au all in lowercase.
  • Check the username or account name you typed in make sure there's no spelling mistake.
  • Your mail box maybe full. Get a NET2000 staff to clear it for you.
  • The antivirus program may have changed your incoming mail server settings to 127.0.0.1 or localhost or pop3.norton.antivirus. You'll need to chage it back to mail.net2000.com.au
 
  • The account name is changed to username#mail.net2000.com.au by the antivirus program. You'll need to change it back to just username without the #mail.net2000.com.au
  • You may have a very large email.
  • If get disconnected in the middle of downloading your emails. Your mailbox is locked.
  • The mail server maybe overloaded, try again later.
  • Mail box is corrupted because an email is not completely downloaded
