- Make sure you dialling
the correct dial in number. Check the Area Code & Country
Code, take these off if necessay. There's no need to dial the area
code or the country code. Check the dialup number itself.
- Make sure the correct
modem driver is selected under Dialup Networking
- Check your login
details. Make you are using the right username and password

- Try adding a few
commas(,) after the dial in phone number to delay the connection time.
- The modem may need
to be reconfigured. You can try adding different initialisation strings
to the modem advance settings. The initialization strings for different

- Reinstall the modem
driver.
- Update the firmware
